Everyone loves a bargain and this year's January sales offer some cracking offers and markdowns! The high street is buzzing with the new year sales and many stores have marked down entire ranges of clothing, footwear and accessories. A recent scan of the high street has revealed reductions of up to 70% in some stores, with seasonal mark downs of 50% being fairly standard fair this year. The trend does reflect the difficulty of the credit crunch, but for the savvy shopper the January sales mark a fantastic opportunity to stock up on key essentials for the year ahead.

Is anything hotter than Hudson jeans with a pair of cardi Ugg boots?
When any fashion conscious girl thinks of winter she thinks of classic Ugg boots and a flattering pair of simple but sexy jeans. Described as the Wonder bra of jeans the Hudson signature jean is a secret kept close to the heart of A list American stars for years. Angelina Jolie, Christina Arguilera, Eve Longoria, Jessica Biel, and Halle Berry are some of the stars who have been spotted strutting their stuff on the boutique lined streets of LA in this season’s hottest Hudson signature jeans. Not to be outdone Celebs in the UK have started to catch on to this craze and teamed their flattering Hudson jeans with Cardi Uggs for the ultimate WOW factor this autumn.
As a great new trend is lace, a great way to wear it is on your legs.
The fashionable Pamela Mann design draws attention to your pins, which is great as the net like material is a fantastic leg slimmer and really reasonable at £6.99! I think selection of tights, at tightsplease are great, I thought the designs arent overtly sexy but there is something about the tights that draws peoples eyes to them, as I noticed at work today!
Ex pop singer Louise Redknapp has taken on the role of ambassador for Triumph. She’s looking great for her age; I can’t believe she’s got children.
The fact that she won FHM’s Best Female of the Decade may be why Triumph snapped her up!
What length would you go to get your hands on a piece of royalty?
$9000 dollars on a pair of Queen Victoria’s bloomers was the price to pay for one Canadian buyer. The open crotch hand made pants were auctioned in London as well a 66-inch bust chemise which sold for $8000 and a nightgown selling for $11,000.

Leg wear is unquestionably the hit accessory for summer 2008. But more specifically, colourful socks seem to be the favourite among the fashion conscious!
Take Brit Supermodel and style icon Agyness Deyn. She is rarely caught on camera these days without her rainbow coloured ankle socks on show. Matching yellow socks with brown leather daps or red with white patent shoes, Agyness has it sussed when it comes to accessorizing. And the best news of all, at £3.49 and zero delivery charge at online hosiery retailer www.tightsplease.co.uk, they are probably the most affordable trend the fashion industry has ever witnessed!
