On my wish list today are these corduroy skinny jeans from 7 for All Mankind. As someone who took longer than most to warm to the idea of skinny jeans (hips anyone?!), I'm now totally on board and enjoying their versatility.

I've been leaning more towards smart/evening looks recently for various events and parties - it's a hard life, but someone's got to live it! So now I've got a small break in my social calendar it seems like the opportune time to dress down with some 'off-duty' looks.

I have to be honest about what attracted me to these... they just look really comfy! I can see myself wrapped up in a fabulous giant knit (think Donna Karan's oversized cashmere sweater) off out to meet the girlies, feeling very snug and ever so slightly stylish.

For those on a tighter budget, River Island have some great skinnies in store at the moment. These grey skinny jeans are a great affordable alternative.

Ok, I'm off to start lusting over the new pieces that have just arrived at NET-A-PORTER.com (NaP). And just in case Darren (my new husband) is reading this... I'm just looking... honest :)
