Maternity Style - 35 Weeks Pregnant
I’m excited to introduce an outfit post that’s been shot on location, as appose to my back garden! This week’s outfit comes from the pretty pastel streets of Notting Hill, thanks to my lovely friend Lucy for taking the photos before our lunch date.
I’d almost forgotten I owned this trench coat from Zara, but stumbled across it whilst sorting out my wardrobe last week. Although I’m currently not able to button it up, it makes the ideal coat for the in-between weather we seem to be experiencing at the moment; light enough to stop me getting too warm, but providing me with protection from unexpected showers.
My top is part of New Look’s maternity range, as are the jeans, which have featured heavily throughout my maternity style posts. Having shied away from horizontal stripes in the past, I find it vaguely amusing that I’m choosing to embrace them now whilst my tummy is five times its normal size!
The necklace is another purchase from New Look and the bright neon shades sit brilliantly against the navy blue of the top. I ordered it online and the colours in the shop photo simply didn't do it justice at all, much brighter and bolder in real life!
Lastly the bag is a recent addition to my ever-growing handbag collection from Marks & Spencer. There seems little point in investing in any more maternity clothes now I’m on the downhill stretch, but there’s no harm in purchasing accessories that will be as applicable now as when baby arrives - or at least that’s how I’m justifying it!
