Maternity Style at 29 Weeks Pregnant

Another week has flown by which means that there’s now less than 11 weeks to go until my due date! Quite where the time is going I don’t know, but I do know that each week it’s getting more and more challenging to style ‘le bump’. Today’s outfit is one of the bolder choices (it’s all relative) I've made since becoming pregnant and I even upped the ante with my lipstick shade in tribute to the brighter colours in today’s look.

Paris - Part Trois

Disneyland!

I had originally intended to cover my entire Paris trip in one post, but somehow it’s spilled over into three. Apologies if you’re bored to death of my ramblings, be assured that this is the final post and normal service will resume shortly.

The last two days in Paris were actually the two I was looking forward to the most. On the Wednesday morning Darren and I had booked a tour of Versailles for everyone as their joint birthday gift - beginning in January all four have their birthdays by the beginning of February, which makes thinking of gifts quite a challenge. This year we were able to kill all four birds with one proverbial stone by paying for a private tour of the Palace of Versailles. I should clarify, that when I use the word ‘private’, I mean it was just the six of us on the tour, not that we had palace to ourselves - Kim Kardashian I am not.

The Pashli Predicament

3.1 Phillip Lim Red Pashli Satchel

The 3.1 Phillip Lim Pashli satchel... yes/no, iconic/forgettable, classic/fad?

I’ve longed to own a 3.1 Phillip Lim Pashli bag since I first spotted one pop up on the my-wardrobe.com website about two years ago! Handbags (or indeed anything) that cost £££s are never whim purchases for me, they’re well thought out and based on the outcome of various pros and cons charts. My main concern when investing in something like the Pashli, is whether it will stand the test of time and become a classic piece, or whether it’ll fall by the wayside and be put away at the back of my cupboard never to see the light of day again. I wonder if the Pashli has the staying power of the Mulberry Alexa, a now iconic satchel style.

Bicester Village

Bicester Opening Times

‘Luxury Outlet Village’ three little words that I love to hear but that leave my husband rushing to hide the credit card. Last week I was lucky enough to visit the matriarch of all outlets, Bicester Village in Oxfordshire. I’d spent the past nine months (since we moved to the South) eager to visit, so to say I was excited would be a vast understatement.

A Bag Fit for a Princess

Mulberry Lily Bags

Tiger Lily was one of my favourite characters in Disney’s Peter Pan. I was fascinated with Native Americans and loved her cure pigtails, feather headband and her refusal to give away Peter Pan’s hiding place. A heroine for my younger self and it would appear, Paula Yates.
